What types of events can I host at The Alementary?

We’re happy to have just about any type of event, such as birthdays, holiday parties, engagement parties, club meet ups, charity events, networking, and other corporate events.  If you’ve got an idea or a need, just give us a shout.

When can I host an event?

The tasting room is available to rent for events outside of our normal business hours.  Generally, that means that these times are available:

  • Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday: any time after 5pm
  • Thursday and Friday:  after 9pm (with an early close at our discretion)
  • Sunday: any time after 6pm

We are currently unable to host private events on Saturday or during normal tasting room hours.  We are, though, working to change that so stay tuned.

Can I bring outside beverages for guests who don't drink beer?

Outside non-alcoholic beverages are welcome, but outside alcoholic beverages are NOT allowed under an circumstances.  This is a NJ State regulation, so we cannot make any exceptions to this policy.

What's on the menu?

We do not serve food (no production brewery in NJ is allowed to serve food, in fact).  You are, though, more than welcome to bring your own food, have your event catered, or even hire a food truck.  Please note that we do not have a kitchen of any sort.  Also, it is your responsibility to clean up any left over food or catering materials with you.  We don’t have the facilities to deal with large amounts of waste.

How much does a private event cost?

Our pricing is tiered based on the number of people and day of the week.  The easiest thing to do is contact us at [email protected] or 201-9068-1290 and let us know what you’re thinking–we’re always happy to discuss pricing details and provide an estimate.  The private event fee just covers the facility rental.  The cost of beer must be paid as a separate amount, and there’s a gratuity fee added.  We’ll let you know how all that works when we hear from you.
